In a nutshell, you send us aeon and we make your bitcoin payment.
In case something went wrong with your order, don't panic. The friendly people over at firstname.lastname@example.org can certainly help you out. If you contact them, please include:
Please understand that for operational reasons, we can’t reimburse you in Bitcoin.
The indicative rate is the rate we currently offer for a standard order size. We call it indicative as it might change depending on the amount of your order. If you want to see the actual rate for your desired amount, just create an order!
No. The BTC/AEON exchange rate that you are quoted determines the exact number of coins you need to send us in order to have your Bitcoin payment fulfilled.
By default, AEON payments protect your privacy much better than Bitcoin ones, by putting you back in control: you control how much you reveal and to who thanks to view keys. Hence, it is not AEON.to that protects your privacy as we are NOT a trusted third party in the equation – something we would be uncomfortable with. Instead, it is AEON that gives you back control of a reasonable financial privacy in the digital realm.
Note that because the Bitcoin blockchain is transparent, payments originating from us will be easily discernible as coming from AEON.to. However, thanks to the intrinsic properties of AEON, no-one can associate that payment with you unless you decide to. This would be true and simpler if your merchant was accepting AEON directly – insist they should do so next time!
Yes, we do. This is partially because it helps for support and maintenance, and partially because it's a royal pain to ensure that they are purged from all server logs everywhere. :)
It is, in fact, irrelevant whether or not we chose to log IPs. Our hosting service may anyway be logging our traffic, and their logging policy is not in our control. (This is where all the "anonymous" VPN providers lie to you…)
Yes, we do! Feel free to use it.
